Question:Hey! I'm one-month new to tumblr and discovered your blog (yay!) and loving it :) I'm wondering if you could answer this just cos I see it being mentioned all the time... How "bad" (bad/bad or good/bad?) is/was BB's dancing as a group? Are they obviously better now? Cos I don't remember any vids or moments when they're out of sync unless deliberately. I'm not a singer/dancer too so I prolly wouldn't have noticed haha. Thanks Cami and great blog!! - jandoe23
Dancing…was never BIGBANG’s priority. They weren’t the best nor the worst dancers and being completely in-sync was never theirs nor YG’s way of doing things either.
They’d loose their characters if they were robotic in sync imo.
I dabbled on dancing for a while so i’ll just say my take on it.
GD’s moves has a lot of fluidity to it? Dancing to him is so effortless that sometimes people look at it as him “not giving a fuck” but if you watch him very closely his moves are very on point. He doesn’t have the “dancer” role but if you take away singing/rapping and just let him dance, he could be one of the best imo. Taeyang on the other hand is very technical especially in his Where U At/Wedding Dress days, which most of the time is a good thing but there could be some disadvantage to being overly technical…he’s loosened up now though its very noticeable in the Ringa Linga performance. Daesung is a good dancer too imo, he’ll hit whatever you want him to hit…but dancing is not his priority so…Seungri started out as the choreographer & main dancer of the group, he was really good but idk, i think at some point he decided that he’s good enough so he concentrated on his singing more than his dancing. Which is a shame cause now everyone thinks Taeyang is the main dancer of the group when its supposed to be Seungri? lol
Let’s not talk about how much of a fabulous dancer T.O.P is…ARE YOU KIDDING?! Michael Jackson of the 21st Century lbr! ;)
